I will bookmark this post to keep handy! Our family movie nights are less frequent. And since we suspended most streaming services, our options are usually limited (a lot of times, movie night depends on when the copy is available at the library ;)). But we do have Netflix still and our daughter introduced us to "Wonder“ after reading the book at school, and it is wonderful! For kids and parents alike!

We do have a few services, but we also end up renting some from Amazon! One part of me feels annoyed at doing that when we already pay for the services, but on the other hand, I remind myself that it's much less expensive than taking everyone out to the movies :)

Zootopia is a favorite of ours too! Judy Hops is seriously so inspirational. 😍

We do movie nights too on Fridays, our girls our 10 and 8. They loved Freaky Friday, parent trap, princess diaries, troop Beverly Hills (my old favorite!!) and father of the bride.

Father of the Bride (1 and 2) = probably my favorite movies of all time. I've debated for YEARS the right age to introduce them to my kids, ha! And Princess Bride, too!

We did have to fast forward the kitchen scene. 🫣🫣

Wow! I'm surprised no Toy Storys made the list - Toy Story 2 might be one of my favorite movies of all time!

A movie we have recently really enjoyed for a family movie night was My Neighbor Totoro which is an older film and done in anime style (it's Japanese but you can watch it dubbed in English) but it's really beautiful and charming!

I've been debating if my kiddos are old enough for Parent Trap (the LL one!) and you having it on your list makes me feel confident they are! One of my favorites for sure - I still like dipping oreos in peanut butter entirely b/c of that movie.

I, too, love Toy Story! And John even more than me! The kids were very meh the first time around, shockingly. I'm hopeful they'll be more taken with it the next time around!!
